The City of Orange is in the middle of an exciting process
that will examine how we will help shape Orange's
growth and change over the next 10 to 20 years.
Through
a series of workshops with the public, the City has developed
a recommended land use plan and a recommended set of updated
goals and
policies. The City will be releasing a public review draft
of the updated General Plan in 2008, along with a
draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) analyzing the impacts
of the proposed plan. Please watch this webpage for information
on upcoming public meetings associated with these documents.

WHAT'S
HAPPENING...
Work is proceeding on refining the draft General Plan text and related EIR to reflect
changes made to the land use alternatives following 2007 City Council / Planning Commission
study sessions. Once this work is complete, the draft General Plan and EIR will be released
for public review.
