GPAC Roles and Responsibilities

All members of the General Plan Advisory committee will be expected to attend and participate in 6 meetings with City staff and the General Plan consultant team in order to cooperatively:

  1. Identify long-range policy issues affecting Orange;
  2. Assist in the development of goals and policies for specified General Plan elements; and
  3. Review and comment on land use and circulation alternatives.

The GPAC’s recommendations are advisory and will be taken into consideration with other recommendations in developing a draft General Plan.
